Possible Career Paths
Students who pursue History as a major will often seek to choose career paths in areas such as law, international studies, history, education and government work.
Emphasizing the development of research, writing and critical thinking skills, History has long been a foundational course of study within the liberal arts. In addition to the core curriculum, students seeking to complete the History concentration will complete additional US and World History survey courses as well as at least one course in either Macro or Micro Economics.
