The online A.S. in Agribusiness program is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in business and agriculture. Students will gain a strong agricultural foundation coupled with business integration on a regional and national scale. Specifically, students will learn about plant and animal science, farm management, and natural resource conservation, as well as marketing, operations management, economics, and equipment management.
The Agribusiness program prepares students to enter four-year programs and opens the door for career opportunities in agricultural business, agricultural product marketing, agricultural finance, farm management, and small business management. Students can also use the knowledge gained from the degree to start their own agricultural business. Agriculture is a predominant industry in Southwest Georgia, and reports estimate that there is a 98.7% chance students will obtain a job after graduating with an agribusiness diploma.
