Distance Education/SARA
Andrew College operates under SARA policies for distance education. We provide our own and SARA’s Complaint Resolution policies and procedures to all students taking courses under SARA policies and procedures. Initial responsibility for the investigation and resolution of Complaints resides with Andrew College. If the complaint has not been resolved through Andrew’s process, students should refer to the SARA Student Complaint procedure and policy and Georgia SARA to file a complaint. During orientation, when registration/enrollment takes place, the institution provides students with this information. This process is for students residing in Georgia and any state other than Louisiana. This information can also be found in our Catalog on page 31.
Online Students Residing in Louisiana
Andrew College is approved to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) through the Georgia SARA State Portal Agency. This participation allows Andrew College to offer online education programs to students located in other SARA member states, including the State of Louisiana.
In accordance with NC-SARA guidelines and the Louisiana Board of Regents, Louisiana-resident students enrolled in Andrew College online programs must follow the complaint resolution process outlined below:
- Step One: File a Complaint with Andrew College
Students should first attempt to resolve all academic or non-academic complaints through Andrew College’s internal processes.
Contact: Office of Academic Affairs, Andrew College
Phone: 229-732-5971
Email: Academic Affairs, academicaffairs@andrewcollege.edu

Andrew College will make every effort to resolve the concern promptly and fairly.
- Step Two: Escalate Unresolved Complaints to Georgia SARA Portal Agency
If the complaint is not resolved through Andrew College’s internal procedures, Louisiana-based distance education students may escalate the complaint to the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (NPEC), which serves as the SARA State Portal Agency for Andrew College’s home state.
