The Andrew campus has been described as “a small, close-knit community working and learning together.” There is a sense of unity on our campus that you will not find at most large four-year institutions. Faculty and staff know students by their first names and take interest in their lives both inside and outside of the classroom. Andrew provides students with every opportunity to grow intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.

Christian tolerance and an underlying belief in the worth and dignity of all people are at the heart of the educational process at Andrew. The student body at Andrew is made up of a wide variety of different individuals, from different backgrounds, with different religious beliefs. Weekly chapel services offer students the opportunity to worship together, share their lives in meaningful ways, and, at times, wrestle with some of life’s most difficult questions.

Andrew students are not required to attend chapel or any other religious functions or activities. These opportunities are available for those students who desire to strengthen their faith and more fully understand their place of service in God’s world.

Attending a two-year college allows students to become involved as soon as they arrive on campus. At many four-year institutions, freshmen and sophomores often wait behind juniors and seniors to assume leading roles on campus. Freshmen at Andrew shine on the athletic fields, during theatre performances, and are leaders in many campus organizations.

Contributing to class discussions and expressing yourself is less intimidating in a classroom of 12 people, as opposed to a class of 200 people. With a student to faculty ratio of 12 to 1, classes at Andrew are relaxed and comfortable. Students receive individual attention from professors who care about their success, both in and out of the classroom.
