At Andrew, we encourage our students and faculty to be effective citizens of the world. We regularly develop travel-study programs which provide learning opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff. Recent travel-study locations include Italy, Greece, and Turkey. Additionally, in partnership with Andrew College’s sister United Methodist institution, South Korea’s Pai Chai University, we have a student exchange program. Andrew students may study in South Korea for up to two semesters and take classes that will contribute to their associate’s degree here, and opportunities for scholarships to attend Pai Chai University may be available to interested and qualified Andrew College students.
Furthermore, Andrew’s Humanities faculty are honored to have been awarded several Fulbright-Hays grants to study abroad in such locations as Malaysia, Taiwan, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, China, and South Korea, and the College has led four Fulbright-Hays study abroad programs for university faculty throughout the southeastern United States, a prestigious accomplishment. Our Humanities faculty members use their international experiences to add to their classroom instruction whenever possible.
