Student Achievement

Andrew College seeks to provide an environment which prepares students for further study at a senior college and enables them to understand themselves as persons of responsibility and potential within the global community.  Andrew College’s mission is:

Andrew College is committed to assessing the extent to which students achieve academic goals related to skills and behaviors that will allow the mission of the College to be fulfilled.  The College has determined the following goals for its academic programs:

Andrew College evaluates student achievement by a variety of performance indicators, including retention rates, transfer rates, and graduation rates.

Fall to Fall Retention Rates

Retention rate is defined as the rate at which students persist in their educational program at an institution.

Fall to Fall Retention rates as reported in the table below indicate the percentage of first-time, full-time degree-seeking students who continued their enrollment at Andrew College from the Fall term to the following Fall term.

The target for the retention rate at Andrew College is 1) to exceed the median of peer institutions, or 2) to exceed the College’s previous year’s rate.
