2020-2021 Pitts Scholarship Competitions

Andrew College created the Pitts Scholarship Competition to reward high achieving high school students with the opportunity to compete for our highest academic scholarships. Andrew College will award 2 full tuition, room and board scholarships, several, full tuition scholarships and a number of other academic scholarships to students participating in the Competitions.  All freshmen applicants meeting the eligibility requirements will receive an invitation to attend, provided they complete their application files no later than two weeks before either Competition date.  Students only need to attend one of the two Competition dates.

Tuesday, November 17, 2020 (virtual)
2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Location:  Online

Friday, February 26, 2021 (virtual)
12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Location: Online

Eligibility: Entering freshmen (students having college credit through a dual enrollment/joint enrollment program are still eligible)

Qualifications:

  • Admission to Andrew College at least 2 weeks before the selected competition date
  • 3.0 or higher GPA in a college preparatory curriculum

To complete the admission process, the following materials must be submitted by 2 weeks prior to the competition date you wish to attend:

  • Admission application
  • Official transcripts
  • Standardized test scores (optional)
  • Official college transcripts from any dual enrollment/joint enrollment coursework

Fine Arts Scholarship Online Auditions

Auditions/Presentations for the Andrew College Fine Arts Scholarship will be held virtually this year.  Please read the important information below pertaining to scheduling you audition/presentation:

Auditions/Presentations:

Theatre and Music Auditions may be done through Zoom.

Visual Arts portfolio presentations may be done through Zoom.

Students may, as an alternative, elect to record their auditions/presentations and send them to the appropriate professor via their e-mail address below.   These auditions should follow the guidelines provided on the website (music) or the appropriate attachment for the other areas:

Important Notes

All students auditioning or presenting their portfolio must be accepted by Andrew College in order to receive a scholarship offer.  Ideally this should be done prior to the student’s audition date.

Students may elect to audition in multiple areas if they wish but may only receive one scholarship.
