2020 Pitts Scholarship Competition

Andrew College created the Pitts Scholarship Competition to reward high achieving high school students with the opportunity to compete for our highest academic scholarships. Andrew College will award 2 full tuition, room and board scholarships, several, full tuition scholarships and a number of other academic scholarships to students participating in the Competition.

Dates:
Saturday, January 18, 2020
10:00 am – 3:00 pm or
Friday, February 21, 2020
12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Location: The campus of Andrew College
Eligibility: Entering freshmen (students having college credit through a dual enrollment/joint enrollment program are still eligible)

Qualifications:

  • Admission to Andrew College at least 2 weeks before the selected competition date
  • 3.0 or higher GPA in a college preparatory curriculum

To complete the admission process, the following materials must be submitted by February 1:

  • Admission application
  • $20 application fee
  • Official transcripts
  • Standardized test scores
  • Official college transcripts from any dual enrollment/joint enrollment coursework

Fine Arts Scholarship Competition

Are you a talented artist, actor or musician? We invite you to join us on Fine Arts Scholarship Day to compete for a scholarship in your selected area (visual arts, theatre or music).

Available Scholarships

Two full tuition scholarships in Music (instrumental and/or vocal)

Two full tuition scholarships in Theatre (performance and/or technical theatre)

Two full tuition scholarships in Visual Arts (a variety of media)

Plus other partial fine arts scholarships

Requirements

You must be accepted for admission to Andrew College no later than February 21, 2020. You can complete the application for admission by clicking here.

You must enroll as a full-time student.

Schedule an Audition Time

Once accepted for admission, you may schedule an audition/portfolio presentation time. Auditions/portfolio presentations will be held beginning at 9:00 am. Please register for an audition area here. You may register for more than one fine arts area, but students are typically eligible to receive a scholarship from one of these areas. You will be sent additional audition/portfolio information and requirements by the end of December.
