Andrew College Respiratory Therapy Receives Ventilator Donation

Cuthbert, GA – During this pandemic, pulmonary health and the training of our front line healthcare workers are of immeasurable importance.  The Hospital Authority of Miller County recently donated a Pulmonetic LTV 1150 Ventilator to the Andrew College Respiratory Therapy Program.  With this generous donation, the Respiratory Therapy students will have the means to simulate a mechanically ventilated patient prior to their clinical rotation experience.  This is a huge addition to the Respiratory Therapy laboratory at Andrew College and will greatly benefit the overall hands-on learning experience these students will receive.  Respiratory Therapy program director Kathryn Brown stated, “we are so grateful for this amazing donation and appreciate the Hospital Authority of Miller County as they have been a huge supporter of the Respiratory Therapy program here at Andrew College.”
