New members join Andrew College Board of Trustees – CUTHBERT, GA (March 15, 2024)-The Andrew College Board of Trustees held their spring meeting on Friday, April 19th. During the meeting, the board welcomed four new trustees: Scott Curry, Chuck Knight, Allen London, an Larry Stewart. Mr. Curry, a Shellman native, is a 1998 Andrew grad and serves as President of First State Bank of Randolph County. Rev. Knight is from Albany and serves as Executive Pastor of Porterfield Methodist Church. Mr. London, a 1989 Andrew grad, resides in Macon and is the Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement at Mercer University. Dr. Stewart is a 1973 Andrew grad and retired government official and former college instructor and administrator from Forsyth.
Andrew College Board Chairman George Flowers stated, “We are excited to add four new Trustees to our Andrew College Board. Dr. Kennedy and I had the pleasure of visiting with each of them. Each brings a unique set of talents, skills, and experience that will add to the depth of our Board. We are truly grateful that they committed to serve the College.”
To join the Board of Trustees, individuals must first be nominated, then go through an approval process involving the Nominating and Executive Committees of the Board before being brought to the full board for final approval. These new members must also complete a trustee orientation with the board chair and College administrators.
