CUTHBERT, GA — Andrew College announced today that the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) has reaffirmed the institution’s accreditation for the next 10 years with no findings, the highest possible outcome in the accreditation review process. The action was taken at the SACSCOC Board of Trustees meeting on June 11, 2026.
The decennial review examines every aspect of an institution, including academic quality, financial operations, faculty qualifications, student success, strategic planning, and institutional effectiveness. Achieving reaffirmation with no findings is the highest distinction an institution can attain.
“This achievement reflects the dedication and professionalism of every member of the Andrew College community,” said Dr. William R. Kennedy, President of Andrew College. “Our faculty, staff, administration, and Board of Trustees have worked tirelessly to uphold the highest standards of academic quality and institutional integrity. This outcome is a powerful affirmation of what we have built together.”
Dr. Kennedy also recognized Dr. Calandra Lockhart, Vice President of Academic Affairs, for her leadership throughout the process. “Dr. Lockhart’s stewardship, meticulous attention to detail, and tireless commitment were instrumental in guiding our team to this exceptional result. Andrew College is fortunate to have her.”
The reaffirmation comes at a moment of significant institutional momentum. Since fall 2022, Andrew College’s enrollment has grown 144 percent. The college has added twelve new bachelor’s degree programs in the last three years and expanded opportunities beyond the classroom through new athletic programs and a growing campus ministry.
SACSCOC accreditation ensures that degrees earned at Andrew College are recognized by employers, graduate schools, and other academic institutions nationwide.
