Andrew College faculty and staff sign agreement Georgia College and State University

CUTHBERT, GA (February 17, 2023) —Andrew College signed its first Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for graduates of its bachelors programs. Georgia College and State University reached out to establish a seamless transfer of Andrew’s graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration into GCSU’s Georgia WebMBA®, Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (MLSCM), Master of Management Information Systems (MMIS), and MMIS Online Graduate Certificates in the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business and Technology.

Present at the virtual signing were Andrew College officials: President Dr. Linda Buchanan, Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Karan Pittman, Division Coordinator of Social Sciences Dr. Charles Roberts, Assistant Professor of Business Administration and Business Administration Program Coordinator Dr. Robert S. Kortbawi, Assistant Professor of Business Administration Dr. Chris Serafin, and Professor of English and Coordinator of Program Development and Accreditation Amanda Knight. From GCSU, officials included  Dr. Holley Roberts, Associate Provost of Academic Affairs and Director of The Graduate School; Dr. Micheal Stratton, Dean of the College of Business; Dr. Tanya Goette, Associate Dean of the College of Business; Kari Brown, Coordinator, Business Outreach, Cassie Napier, Graduate Admissions Recruiter, Dr. James Arias, Chair, Economics, and Finance Dept., Dr. Scott Cox, Assistant Professor of Management, Dr. Whitney Ginder, Associate Professor Marketing, Dr. Mehrnaz Khalaj Hedayati, Assistant Professor of Management, Leigh MacLeod, Administrative Assistant for the Management, Logistics, and Marketing Dept., Dr. Bill Donoher, Chair, Management, Logistics, and Marketing Dept., and Dr. Sandria Stephenson, Assistant Professor of Accounting.

“We are excited to partner with Georgia College and State University in our first articulation agreement for graduates of our bachelor programs,” stated Andrew College President Linda R. Buchanan, Ph.D. “We hope this pathway between our institutions will encourage more students to pursue their master’s.

Through the agreement, all students interested in a career in business that complete the appropriate bachelor’s degree program can continue online and/or in classroom settings.
