Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act

The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB Act) Safeguards Rule pertains to the safeguarding of customer ﬁnancial information. The rule requires ﬁnancial institutions, including colleges and universities, to develop plans and establish policies to protect such information. All Andrew College students have access to Teladoc. Teladoc, Inc. is a telehealth company that uses telephone and videoconferencing technology to provide on-demand, remote medical care via mobile devices, the internet, video, and phone. Students may also be able to receive prescriptions through Teledoc.

If an emergency health situation arises, Andrew College is only steps away from CareConnect Convenient Care, Cuthbert location. Medical Center Barbour in Eufaula is also 27.8 miles away. The hospital accepts most major insurance plans.

Mental Health

If a student requests mental health services, the Dean of Student Life will arrange an appointment for that student with New Horizons Behavioral Health, located close to campus. Hew Horizons Behavioral Health provides both face-to-face counseling and mental health services. If desired, our chaplain also provides pastoral care for students.
