Student Support Services

Student Support Services (SSS) assists students in reaching their full academic potential in college, prepares them to transfer to a four-year institution, and provides educational and life skills that will help them succeed in college and beyond.

Every summer, Student Support Services hosts a Summer Success Program.  This program brings a select group of incoming freshmen onto campus for two weeks.  During this time, students get acquainted with the area, get oriented with the campus, take classes, and participate in a variety of activities.  One of these activities is volunteering.  The summer of 2012 found SSS students volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank in Albany, Georgia.  For an inside look at this event, watch the video.
