Program Director, Respiratory Therapy
Katie Brown is the Program Director and Assistant Professor of Respiratory Therapy. She has lived in Southwest Georgia all of her life and understands the need for healthcare education in the area. In 2009, she received her Associate of Science degree in Respiratory Care from Darton College in Albany, GA. While working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and teaching part-time with Darton College, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy at Macon State College in Macon, GA. Katie later received her Master of Education degree in Adult and Career Education from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA. She came to Andrew College in June 2018 after serving as the Director of Clinical Education of Respiratory Therapy at Darton State College for five years.
