The Focus Program

The mission of the Focus Program is to empower students to meet the challenges at Andrew College through the development of personal control and independence coupled with academic learning. The Focus Program facilitates the learning process for students with learning disabilities by promoting self-determination, self-advocacy, self-efficacy, and self-directed learning. We believe in "teaching students how to learn."
As part of the Focus Program, students learn to identify their strengths and weaknesses to become problem solvers, independent thinkers and self-directed learners.

Students will learn to successfully negotiate the transition from high school to college while receiving an intensive level of support and tutoring.

Andrew College has articulation agreements with many colleges and universities which makes it easier to transfer an Associate Degree to a 4-year college or university.
