Brandon Bostick signs with Emmanuel College

Brandon Bostick started in the outfield for the past two years and filled a crucial role in our lineup with a speed element to the Tigers offense and defense. Brandon was a hard worker that brought a lot of speed to the lineup that allowed him to continuously cause havoc on the base paths.  Bostick finished up a successful sophomore season with 16 runs scored, 7 RBI, and 15 stolen bases (18th in conference). Brandon helped defensively in the outfield with his speed and the ability to track down any fly ball with 52 total chances, 50 putouts, 1 assist, and with a .981 fielding percentage (25th in conference) on the season. Brandon will be joining Division II participant Emmanuel College which competes in the Conference Carolinas. The coaching staff at Andrew College wishes Brandon the best of luck next year at Emmanuel College. Brandon Bostick had two year totals while at Andrew College at the plate of 151 at bats, 29 runs, 32 hits, 4 doubles, 18 RBI, and 28 stolen bases. While in the field he had 107 total chances, 102 putouts, 2 assist, and only committing 3 errors in two years.

Cole Murphy signs with Charleston Southern University

Cole Murphy started at shortstop for the past two years and anchored our infield defense while hitting in the middle of the order as well. Murphy finished a successful sophomore campaign with a .389 batting average (4th in conference), 39 runs scored (16th in conference), 12 doubles (9th in conference), 6 triples (1st in conference and 22nd in NJCAA), 24 RBI, 25 walks (7th in conference), 6 stolen bases, .470 on base percentage (6th in conference). Cole has always been a very strong defensive player with 214 total chances, 57 putouts, 144 assist (3rd in conference and 17th in NJCAA), while only committing 13 errors on the season. After the completion of his sophomore season he was selected to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association 2nd team all-conference. Cole will be joining Division 1 participant Charleston Southern University which competes in the Big South Conference.  The coaching staff at Andrew College wishes Cole the best of luck in the future at Charleston Southern University! Cole Murphy had 2 year totals while at Andrew College at the plate of 313 At bats, 62 runs, 95 hits, 13 doubles, 7 triples, 40 RBI, 46 walks, 10 stolen bases, and a .304 batting average. While in the field had 426 total chances, 118 putouts, and 274 assist.

Taylor Bentley signs with The University of West Georgia

Taylor Bentley started in centerfield for the past two years and filled the leadoff spot in the batting lineup. Bentley finished up a successful sophomore campaign with a .288 batting average, 33 runs scored (27th in conference), 9 doubles (24th in conference), 5 triples (3rd in conference and 41st in NJCAA), 16 RBI, 29 walks (4th in conference), 19 stolen bases (8th in conference), .407 on base percentage (32nd in conference). Taylor controlled our outfield defense in centerfield with 133 total chances, 126 putouts (22nd in conference), and 4 assist. Taylor will be joining Division II participant University of West Georgia which competes in the Gulf South Conference. The coaching staff at Andrew College wishes Taylor the best of luck in the future at The University of West Georgia! Taylor Bentley had 2 year totals while at Andrew College at the plate of 296 at bats, 52 runs, 81 hits, 18 doubles, 8 triples, 27 RBI, 44 walks, 28 stolen bases, 18 hit by pitches, and a .274 batting average. While in the field he had 222 total chances, 205 putouts, and 10 assist.

Hudson Jacobs signs with Emmanuel College

Hudson Jacobs has been a two year starter on the mound for Andrew College. Jacobs was a true work horse for the pitching staff as he pitched in a lot of big games and always wanted the ball. He finished up a successful sophomore campaign with a 4.41 ERA, 4 wins, 9 losses, 79.2 innings pitched (5th in conference and 32nd in NJCAA),21 walks, average of 4.07 strikeouts per game, 6 complete games (3rd in conference and 17th in NJCAA), and 16 games started (1st in conference and 1st in NJCAA). Hudson will be joining Division II participant Emmanuel College, which competes in the Conference Carolinas next year. The coaching staff at Andrew College wishes Hudson the best of luck in the future at Emmanuel College! Hudson Jacobs had 2 year totals of a 4.72 ERA, 28 appearances, 21 games started, 8 wins, 11 losses, 8 complete games, 122 innings pitched, 56 strikeouts, and only 31 walks.
