Blake Williams

Blake Williams...................Head Coach

Blake Williams will begin his sixth season at Andrew College and fourth as Head Baseball Coach.  He is a 2007 graduate of Emmanuel College with his B.S. in Kinesiology – Sports Management and a 2008 graduate of North Georgia College and State University with a Masters in Physical Education.

Williams is a 2001 graduate of Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, GA.  While in high school, he lettered in baseball and basketball.  He earned all-region honors for baseball and helped his team to a number four ranking in the state his senior year at Oconee County High School. After high school he signed a baseball scholarship with Southern Union State Community College which is located in Wadley, Alabama.  After SUSCC, he signed with NAIA participant Emmanuel College, located in Franklin Springs, Georgia to finish out his playing career. Blake was a four year starter and finished with a career batting average of .346 while in college. Williams was an intense competitor and a very versatile player, primarily playing infield, but also saw spot duty in the outfield.

Blake is going into his eighth year of college baseball coaching, with previous coaching stops at Emmanuel College for two years, and coaching in the summer collegiate ranks in the Great Lakes League for the Anderson Servants located in Anderson, Indiana.

After completing his third year as head coach the Tigers program has had very good success in moving the program to a higher standard. Blake Williams has guided the baseball program to an increase in overall wins and conference wins. The Tigers in the past 3 seasons since being appointed as Head Coach has helped place 20 student athletes at 4 year schools to continue their education and baseball playing career and 1 former Tiger drafted in the 2013 MLB draft 24th round by the Seattle Mariners. In total, while coaching at Andrew College Coach Williams has helped place 29 former Tigers at 4 year schools and seen 2 players get drafted into Major League Baseball. Also, the Tigers have had a player selected every season for the GCAA All-Conference team. 

Blake Williams was married to the former Kayla McNeal of Braselton, GA on July 24, 2010. They reside in Cuthbert, GA with their daughter Kori Williams.

Andrew College Baseball
Brock Moss...................Assistant Baseball Coach

Brock Moss will be joining the Andrew College baseball program this year as an assistant baseball coach, with a focus on the pitching staff. Moss is a 2013 graduate from Sterling College, with a BS in Sport Management and minor in Exercise Science. He is currently working on a MA in Education at Greenville College.

Originally from Montgomery, TX,  Moss started his collegiate career at Morton College in Cicero, IL before transferring to Sterling College in Sterling, KS.  At Sterling College, Moss helped lead his team to an NAIA World Series appearance in 2013 with 48 wins and 14 losses, while being named a NAIA scholar athlete.  At both Morton College and Sterling College, he was a dual positional player, splitting time in the outfield and on the mound pitching.

This past season, Moss was the assistant baseball coach and pitching coach at Ecclesia College located in Springdale, AR. Under his guidance, he led the pitching staff to breaking several school records, as his pitching staff had the lowest ERA, WHIP, and tied the school record with most team wins.
