Women's Volleyball

The Lady Tigers compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), and vie for a Region XXIII tournament bid. The volleyball program enters its fifth season, with Head Coach Donna Rountree beginning her second season at the helm. The team competes against two and four year colleges in such places as Pensacola, FL, Spartanburg, SC, and Hanceville, AL, in both head to head matches, and multi-team tournaments.

The Lady Tigers play their home matches in the recently upgraded Parker Building Gymnasium, where the team enjoys large crowds and a big home court advantage when in Cuthbert.

At Andrew College, volleyball players have an opportunity to step in and contribute immediately, rather than having to wait their turn behind juniors and seniors. Because of the small size of the college, players will receive more individualized attention from their professors and have the opportunity to become more involved on campus that at a larger college.

Coach Rountree brings plenty of experience and intensity to her team. She knows what it takes both physically and mentally to succeed on the floor and in the classroom.  Andrew College is dedicated to providing students with a quality academic experience, with well-regarded faculty and advisors, free tutoring, helpful workshops, and required athletic study halls.

Andrew College can help you get to the next level, both academically and athletically. If you would like to be considered a prospective student-athlete at Andrew College, fill out the Volleyball InterestForm and Apply Online.

We look forward to the day you step on the floor representing Andrew College!!
