AndrewServes hosts a Tsunami Benefit

On Saturday, February 26, a Tsunami Benefit was held on the Andrew College campus.  The event was sponsored by AndrewServes program and featured live music and a silent auction, ending with a candlelight vigil for those affected by the tsunami that struck last December.

All proceeds from the event are being donated to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), a not-for-profit humanitarian agency of the United Methodist Church .  Many thanks go to the attendees who helped make this benefit a success and those who contributed either monetarily or with in-kind donations.

Students get ready to enjoy an afternoon of fun, food, music, and games on campus.

Megan Millwood carefully paints Becky Shivers's
face - with love, no doubt.

(L to R) Seth Golden and Seth Reese entertain the crowd - all in the name of a great cause!

(L to R) Becky Shivers, Scott Grubbs, and Brett Smith
welcome everyone to the benefit. Becky and Brett were responsible for planning the event and bringing
it all together. Nice work!

Kentaro Kimura, or "YoYo" as he is known on campus,
amazes the crowd with his yoyoing skills. Kentaro is
ranked as one of the top 10 yoyoers in the world!

Haley Phillips and Keelan Kirkland were the
master chefs during the benefit.
