The following athletic teams and programs are available at Andrew:

Men’s Baseball
The Andrew baseball team has been to the regional playoffs twice and continues to field competitive teams, playing prominent two-year and four-year programs in the Southeast.  With a new home field and a player’s coach experienced in winning at the helm, the Fighting Tigers have high expectations for the future.

Men’s and Women’s Soccer
The Andrew soccer program competes with both two-year and four-year programs and has been competing for championships regionally and nationally in recent years.  The women’s team is gaining momentum every year as the popularity of the sport continues to grow.  The men’s team has numerous regional tournament wins and has been to two national tournaments, finishing the season ranked #2 and # 5 in the nation those years.

Women’s Fast Pitch Softball
The Andrew women won the Georgia State Junior College slow pitch championships in 1993.  After reaching the pinnacle in that division, the program has geared up and taken on a new challenge in moving to fast pitch competition.  With an exciting new coach and great softball facilities, the Lady Fighting Tigers are ready to pounce on the competition for years to come.

Men’s and Women's Golf
Competing in Division II of the NJCAA, the men’s golf team has been remarkably successful since the program began in 1998.  The team has won three regional championships and qualified for the National Tournament three years. The addition of Women's Golf was recently announced for the 2006-2007 academic year and scholarships are available.

Women's Basketball
Andrew College recently announced the addition of Women's Basketball for the 2006-2007 academic year. The Lady Tigers will compete in Region XVII of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Basketball scholarships are available.

Men's and Women's Cross Country
Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams enjoyed successful debut seasons in 2005. The men won the Georgia Junior College Athletic Association Division one meet at Al Bishop Park in Marietta and finished the season by competing in the NJCAA Division Meet at RIM Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas. The women’s team completed the season with a runner-up finish at the GJCAA Division Meet at Al Bishop.

Athletic Training
The Athletic Training program at Andrew College provides students with the hands-on experiences needed to learn the profession of athletic training, as well as the classroom knowledge necessary for building a firm foundation in the field.  Student Athletic Trainers have an opportunity to get experience working with college-level men’s and women’s athletic teams, as well as a high school football team.

Sports Management
Sports Management is an exciting and growing profession dealing with a wide variety of aspects in the world of sports and sports business.  Students have an opportunity to learn about the field not only in the classroom, but also through hands-on experiences; whether it be running the scoreboard at a baseball game, writing press releases about sports events, or helping to organize the Annual 5K Tiger Trot.
