Student Accident Insurance
Andrew College, at no additional charge, provides secondary accident insurance coverage for all full time enrolled students. A description of the plan and its benefits and limitations can be found at www.eiia.org/andrew.
Student Health Insurance
Andrew College, in cooperation with Hene Health Brokerage, can make available to you a low cost health insurance plan for individuals and families. HHB offers comprehensive major medical plans that provide coverage for doctor visits, prescriptions and hospitalization. Other plan highlights include:
- Doctor Co-Pay
- Drug Card with Co-Pay
- $5,000,000 Lifetime Cap
If you choose this optional coverage, you will have access to their direct phone extensions for all servicing issues (i.e. application completion, billing and claims). Career and Transfer Planning
Assistance with career and transfer planning is available from the Director of Student Services in the Student Life office. This assistance includes a career interest assessment, information on career planning, workshops on resume writing, and resource information on careers and four-year colleges. The Student Services Office is located in the Student Life Office in Old Main.
Counseling
Andrew
College
does not provide social / psychological counseling. If counseling is necessary, referrals may be made to off-campus professional services.
Andrew
College
is not responsible for the cost of professional counseling for students.
Substance Abuse Counseling
The Dean of Students Office can provide a list of off-campus counseling resources to faculty, staff, and students for substance abuse. The New Horizon Substance Abuse Recovery Center is located in Cuthbert and can provide assistance.
Dining Hall
The Don Abbott Turner Dining Hall is the central daily gathering point of the campus community. The food service operation is managed by ARAMARK Food Services and provides a wide variety of menu items. The Dining Hall is open to the public for most meals. A debit system, called Tiger Bucks, may be activated in the Business Office that will allow both residential and commuter students an opportunity to use ID cards for purchases in the
Student
Center
or at the Dining Hall.
Andrew College Police Department
The Andrew College Police Department is charged with the responsibilities of providing life, safety, and property protection. Officers are on duty a minimum of 10 hours a day, seven days a week. Click here to find out more about security on Andrew's campus.
