Welcome to Student Life at Andrew College! The Student Life Office at Andrew College works closely with our students to ensure a rewarding college experience. It is our goal to provide a nurturing environment where students may mature emotionally, socially, and spiritually as they grow intellectually. Once a student enrolls in Andrew College, we believe he/she becomes a member of the Andrew family. The Student Life Office promotes a spirit of community and basic respect and concern for others. We want our students to “bloom where they are planted” and become responsible, independent, educated young adults.
Student Life is responsible for those activities that take place “outside of the classroom,” and we plan and design our programs to complement what you learn “inside of the classroom.” The first two years of a student’s college life are critical, and at Andrew College, students have opportunities to participate in activities as freshmen and sophomores that many students are not afforded elsewhere. In fact, Andrew College is a great place for firsts! Whether it is a student’s first college experience, first time away from home, or first time on his/her own…Andrew College provides many opportunities for “firsts!”
Through student life, Andrew College students have numerous opportunities to participate in diverse campus organizations, recreational and intramural programs, campus ministries, and servant leadership. Students may also assume leadership roles in residence life, student government, and student publications, not to mention various fun activities such as Tiger Spirit Week and Homecoming.
The Student Life Office is committed to helping Andrew College students get a great beginning to the rest of their lives…not only will you gain an outstanding liberal arts education at Andrew College, you’ll gain friends and experiences to last a lifetime! As they say, “There’s a first time for everything,” and you’ll find Andrew College is a wonderful place to experience those firsts!
Please call or e-mail our Student Life Office today with any questions and concerns that you might have, and be sure and stop by and say hello when you visit Andrew College!
Sincerely,
Sherri K. Taylor, Ed.D.
