Office of Student Affairs Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Student Affairs is to create a nurturing environment that supports the educational mission of Andrew College while fostering student leadership, promoting campus involvement, facilitating individual and group achievement, and mentoring behavior that is reflective of the values and Christian heritage of the institution.

Andrew inspires. Choosing Andrew College means you will be inspired beyond the classroom. From the first day of your student life, you’ll be able to play a key role in our awesome clubs, sports programs and recreational activities — no waiting until your junior or senior year. Andrew supports dozens of clubs, organizations and student activities outside the classroom.

At Andrew College we strive to provide an opportunity for everyone to have fun with an event that interest them. We pride ourselves on having outlets for virtually every student interest.

Maybe you’d want to sing in Choraliers or step with the Unity Step Team? Maybe you lean more toward politics and like to serve on the Student Government Association or be an Andrew Ambassador. Perhaps your passion is having the most school spirit, there is an opportunity to show it with the Andrew College Spirit Squad or journalism is your classing, you can join Andrew Weekly as a journalist or photographer. As a Methodist institution with strive to provide a health and positive spiritual environment by offering Baptist Campus Ministry and value difference in cultures by having the International Students Association! Do it all at Andrew College where we have activities and clubs for everyone.

You can pursue your dream of competing in intercollegiate athletics and become part of the Fighting Tiger athletic program. As a student-athlete, you will get the academic and personal support you need to excel on and off the field. Maybe intercollegiate sports aren’t your passion but a hobby we offer several intramural activities throughout the year such as dodgeball, flag football, basketball, beach volleyball, indoor soccer and many more!

A vast majority of Andrew student lives on campus in one of the four residence halls, so whatever activities you choose to participate in, your close-knit family of students, faculty and staff will help you make your own fun at Andrew. Have an idea for an activity? Not a problem, we encourage student participate and the Office of Student Affairs is willing to help your vision become a reality! Where will the Mystery Van take you? Who will be crowned Miss Andrew? Who will win the Deans Cup? From Fall Festival and the Late Night Breakfast to Bed Races and Andrew’s Got Talent, you will not only enjoy an array of traditions but come to love them.
