Andrew College Soccer Program

A new type of excitement is felt around the Andrew College Fighting Tigers soccer program. With the addition of Daniel Correa, expectations are high for the soccer program next year. Coach Correa, a former Defender for University of West Florida, will bring a positive winning attitude back to the Andrew College Soccer Program.

Daniel Correa earned a bachelor of Physical Education in 2003 in Brazil, and a master’s in Exercise Science in 2007 from the University of West Florida. As a player Correa helped the University of West Florida Soccer Team to win the GSC Conference and to go all the way to the NCAA Division II National Championship been ranked 3rd in 2006.

Coach Correa believes that the program can be built based on hard work, discipline and dedication. When Correa was asked about the year to come he replied, “Andrew College has a talented core of players, and I feel that they can bring Andrew College back on a winning attitude.”

Returning players from both Men’s and Women’s teams are excited about the addition. Upon Coach Correa’s hiring, Eric Jefferies said, “Coach Correa should be a great coach because he will instill respect and discipline in the players.” Julie Davis, a striker, only had positive things to say about the new addition, “I really enjoyed Coach Correa when he took over for a few games last year. I’m really looking forward for next season.”

With Daniel Correa as new head coach of the Tigers, Andrew College should no longer be a stranger to success. He believes that if you put forth effort and stay disciplined, then the sky is the limit.

Men's and Women's Soccer

Soccer is a tradition at Andrew College. The Tigers compete with two-year schools, as well as with four-year schools. Andrew earned its reputation as a strong soccer school by consistently defeating much larger institutions on its way to numerous regional and state championships.

We look forward to the day when you put on a Fighting Tiger uniform and take to the field representing Andrew College!!
