Andrew to offer free sign language course
As part of its continuing mission to serve the community,
Andrew
College
will offer American Sign Language courses free of charge to teachers, counselors, and social workers in the surrounding area. The courses will begin during the Spring 2005 semester and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

The course will be taught by Paige Garrison, Assistant Professor of Strategic Studies at Andrew. Garrison has studied and worked with the deaf and hearing impaired throughout the country, including
Nebraska
,
Idaho
,
Alaska
, and
Georgia
.
