Andrew’s golf team competes in Goose Pond Tournament
Andrew College’s golf team finished 10th out of 21 teams in the Goose Pond Spring Fling Golf Tournament in
Scotsborough
,
Ala.
, on March 17-19. Evan Scanlan, a sophomore from Peachtree City, Ga., shot rounds of 68, 74, and 76 on his way to finishing the tournament 8th out of 115 golfers.
“For the third tournament in a row, the weather conditions have been less than ideal,” Jimmy Gilbert, Athletic Director, said. “Regardless, we need to be more consistent if we are going to have a chance to compete for the region title this season.”
The Tigers’ next tournament will take place on April 2-3 at
Bagby
State Park
