Andrew’s golf team hosts Spring Invitational

Andrew College’s golf team finished fifth out of nine teams in the Andrew College Spring Invitational Golf Tournament at Meadow Links in Fort Gaines this past weekend. Evan Scanlan, a sophomore from Peachtree City , Ga. , finished the tournament tied for the fourth-best individual score out of 45 golfers and was named to the All-Tournament team.

“We have been playing fairly well during the last several weeks, but we are going to have to play better to have a chance at winning the region tournament” Jimmy Gilbert, Andrew’s Athletic Director, said. “Our guys are looking forward to the challenge and know that they must all play their best golf in order for us to walk away as region champs.”
