February 10th is Andrew Sunday across The South Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church. - 1.30.13
Churches in the conference are provided an Andrew College bulletin insert highlighting Andrew’s mission and historic connection with The United Methodist Church. The President, members of the President’s Cabinet, and Board of Trustees are planning to provide greetings and thanks on behalf of Andrew at various churches within the conference.  Church support remains a vital component of our mission to provide students with a challenging and nurturing environment.

Senior centerfielder Craig Breland put his college choice on paper Tuesday.  The Howard Husky will play baseball at Andrew College next Spring. "He's a good all-around player with a lot of speed," said Howard baseball coach Danny Slaughter.  "We're real excited for the opportunity he has to go to Andrew and play baseball and I think he'll do well." Breland said he chose Andrew College because of the good academics and small class size. Since 2005, 47 of Andrew's baseball players have gone on to four-year schools.  Four were selected in the MLB Draft.

UM Graduate Dissertation Receives Top Award - 1.3.13
Assistant Professor of History and Coordinator of the Social Science Division at Andrew College, Jay Langdale Ph.D., recently had the revised manuscript of his doctoral dissertation titled Superfluous Southerners: Cultural Conservatism and the South published by the University of Missouri Press.

Andrew College signed an articulation agreement with the Georgia Independent College Association (GICA) four-year member institutions.
