At Andrew there is a strong sense of community within each of our residence halls. All residence hall rooms on campus have a "suite" configuration with four students sharing a bathroom/ shower. All rooms have a small vanity or sink, built-in closets, dressers and desks, desk chairs, bunkable beds with twin mattresses, mini-blinds and independent HVAC units. Private rooms are available at a cost of $480 per semester and distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Private rooms are limited due to availability. Deadline for all students to get their private room money in is June 5, 2009.  Any students whose payment is after the June 5 date may or may not receive a roommate.  If you have any housing questions, please contact Taylor King, Director of Residence Life, at (229) 732-5976 or email him at taylorking@andrewcollege.edu .

Each room is also equipped with T-1 internet connections, 70+ channels cable TV connection and telephone jacks with a hot connection for local and 800 numbers.  Carpeting is not placed in any room, but can be installed by the residents. A common television lounge, laundry and vending area is located in each hall.

Each residence hall is staffed by a professional Resident Director who also has other duties on campus. In addition, each section of the halls has a Resident Assistant who provides peer assistance. Andrew College features four distinct residences halls:

  • Mitchell Hall - accommodates 76 male residents on two floors
  • Fort Hall - accommodates 142 residents on three floors
  • Rhodes Hall - accommodates 84 male residents on two floors
  • Patterson Hall - accommodates 68 male residents on two floors

In order to fully develop all areas of a student's life, students are required to live in campus housing (except those who are married or living with their parents or guardians).

The residential experience is extremely important to the development of students at Andrew. Students taking less than 12 hours must seek permission of the Dean of Students to live on campus.
