HABITAT FOR HUMANITY AT ANDREW

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is a nondenominational, nonprofit Christian housing organization that builds simple decent housing in partnership with those in need. Andrew College has been an official Campus Chapter of HFHI since 2000, working to end poverty housing by building, fund raising, educating, and advocating change.

Andrew’s Campus Chapter offers students a chance to become involved and serve the community as part of a worldwide organization with an outstanding record of achievement. Andrew students have built locally, raised money with a nail driving contest and carwash, gone on a building trip for an alternative spring break, known as Collegiate Challenge, and initiated an annual Shack-a-Thon to raise awareness about poverty housing issues. Check out the photos of some of these events here.
