Congratulations!
The Theater Department wishes to congratulate two of the theatres most recent alumni: Briahna Puckett
and Kevin Lane. Briahna has won a theatrical scholarship to Wesleyan College and will continue her studies there.
Kevin, a HOPE Scholarship recipient, will continue his theatrical studies at Valdosta State.  

 

RECENT EVENTS

Fine Arts Exhibition
Professor Nathaniel Allen and student Eugene Gadsden had paintings exhibited in the First Friday Art Show in Eufaula Alabama. The exhibition took place at the Blue Moon Coffee shop, located at 347 South Eufaula Ave. The opening reception was held on Friday, June 6, 2008. Works will be on display until June 27, 2008.

This exhibition was the first national exhibition of artwork by Eugene Gadsden! (As of the morning of June 6 there have already been a number of people asking about the possibility of commissioning works by Mr. Gadsden.)

Focus Lab Mural
During the summer semester 2008 the “Animal Crackers” mural for the Andrew College Focus Lab was finally completed. Students Andrew Monts and Eugene Gadsden participated in painting the 8 by 4 foot mural with instructor Nathaniel Allen. The mural is currently on display in the Focus Lab and an artist’s reception
is planned for early fall semester 2008. Pictured at left are Nathaniel Allen and Eugene Gadsden in front of the completed mural.
