How to Apply For Financial Aid

If you have any questions or problems during the application process, please contact at us at 229.732.5938 - we are committed to helping you receive all of the financial assistance that you need to make college a reality for you.

You can access the various forms and websites listed in this application process by clicking on the underlined links. Some students find it easier to print out this page first (make sure you set your printer to the Landscape setting) to serve as a checklist and reference as they complete all 7 steps. You will need Acrobat Reader to view to PDF forms below.

  1. Complete Andrew College 's Application for Admission.

  2. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form can also be provided by your high school guidance counselor, most public libraries, and Financial Aid office at Andrew. Andrew requires that all students applying for Institutional Scholarships complete the FAFSA.

  3. Submit the FAFSA to Andrew College OR to the U.S. Department of Education (you only need to submit it to one or the other, not both). If you choose to submit a FAFSA to the U.S. Dept. of Education, you can complete the form online and submit it by visiting www.fafsa.ed.gov.   If you are completing the online version of the FAFSA you must apply for a PIN number (click here to apply for a PIN) to be used as your electronic signature.  Students and parents must apply for separate PIN numbers.  **NOTE: To be sure that your information is forwarded to Andrew, include Andrew's School Code (001545) in the appropriate space on the FAFSA form.

  4. Once your FAFSA is processed, Andrew College will receive an electronic Student Information Report from the U.S. Department of Education and you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). You do not need to submit your report to Andrew's Financial Aid Office. However, you should submit any corrections that need to be made to your SAR to Andrew College . In some cases students will be chosen for a process called verification.  Should your Student Information Report be selected for verification ,we will request additional information be submitted to the Financial Office.

  5. If you are a Georgia resident, complete the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant Application and submit it to Andrew College 's Financial Aid Office.

  6. Once all of the forms and information have been processed, Andrew will send you a Financial Aid award letter explaining the type(s) and amounts of financial assistance you have been awarded for the academic year.
