Tonya is a native of Benevolence, Georgia and she is a graduate of Randolph-Clay High and Andrew College in Cuthbert, Georgia. Tonya earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Albany State University and a Masters of Science degree from Troy University. She has one lovely son, Tarris Bivins II. Tonya worked six in half years as an Educational Talent Search (ETS) Advisor before she was promoted to ETS Coordinator in July 2007. “I value education and I want ETS participants to value their education also. ETS is changing generation’s one child at a time.”

As a graduate of Randolph/Clay High school, Carmel went to Middle Georgia College on an Athletic Scholarship. There he earned an Associates Degree in Business Management and was named to the Junior College All-American Team. He also earned an Athletic Scholarship at Columbus State University where he attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Carmel is currently seeking his Master’s Degree in Public Administration at Columbus State University. He has two loving sons, Carmel Evans Jr. and Trajan Evans. “As an Educational Advisor for Andrew College Trio Programs, it is an honor and privilege to be able to come back to my hometown of Cuthbert and give the same positive influence and educational support that was given to me.”

Trina is a native of Cuthbert. She is a graduate of Randolph-Clay High School, and Andrew College. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lagrange College. She is married to Mr. Augustus Brown Jr. and she is the mother of three, Jareed, Christian, Augina Brown, and Jatina Brown.
Trina has worked hard in the Randolph County School System for 20 years. “I have lived in Cuthbert my entire life so I am very well aware of the needs of our children. By working with the Educational Talent Search Program as the After School Coordinator I will help bridge the gap between high school and college for our children, and show them the importance of obtaining a college degree. I am a proponent of education no matter what your age. I believe you are never too young or to old to learn, because learning is a lifelong process.”

Loretta is from Morris, Georgia and currently resides in Cuthbert, Ga. She received her early education from Quitman County Elementary and graduated from Stewart-
Quitman High School. She received her postsecondary education from Wallace Community College in Office Information System. Before coming to ETS at Andrew College, Loretta worked with Operation Meeting Essential Needs/ Workforce Investment Act in Lumpkin, Georgia where she worked as a Career Advisor. “My previous experience working with our target population has helped me relate to the students environmental needs as well as their educational needs.” Loretta is married to James Thomas and they have two sons, Khiry and Kalik. Loretta is very active in her community.
